Salesforce AI Expansion: Headless 360 & Data 360 Now Live

Salesforce is significantly expanding its AI agent platform, Headless 360, across major cloud services. The company is introducing new servers and tools to integrate AI capabilities more deeply. Here's the thing: The Headless 360 MCP Server is now in open beta. It allows AI agents from various platforms like Agentforce and ChatGPT to understand and use Salesforce features in real time. This server recognizes data relationships and permissions to execute business operations. What's interesting is the Data 360 MCP Server is generally available. It exposes about 200 APIs, letting AI agents perform tasks through natural language, such as transforming data and generating insights. Pre-built Agent Skills for Data 360 are planned for late August 2026. The Slackbot MCP client is also generally available. It connects to Salesforce and over 20 partner applications, allowing employees to update information and initiate workflows directly from Slack. Salesforce has also made more than 100 reusable Agent Skills generally available. The bottom line: This expansion aims to shift Salesforce towards an AI-centric architecture, allowing AI agents to reuse Salesforce capabilities more widely.
