Salt Security: 100 Policies for Agentic AI Governance

Salt Security has announced its Policy Hub now features 100 pre-built policies, creating what it calls the industry's first "app store" for agentic security governance. This milestone includes over a dozen policies specifically designed for AI agent security. The Policy Hub helps security teams as they deploy AI agents across their organizations. It offers a library of governance policies covering APIs, MCP servers, agent permissions, and more. Notably, 61 of these policies activate automatically, providing immediate protection. The platform also maps to eight compliance frameworks, including PCI DSS and GDPR. What's interesting is that API governance has become critical for agent governance, as AI agents rely on APIs to function. This means security policies must cover the entire agentic ecosystem. The Salt Policy Hub aims to provide ready-made solutions, allowing organizations to adopt autonomous AI with greater confidence and maintain security.
