Sapiom Raises $35M to Cut AI Agent Costs for Businesses

Sapiom has secured $35 million in Series A funding to help companies manage the costs of running AI agents. This funding round follows 11 months after the company's founding and six months after its launch. Here's the thing: Sapiom's platform makes real-time decisions to optimize costs for AI agents across models, compute, tools, and services. In just six months since its launch, the platform has processed over 270 million transactions and now powers more than 100,000 agent runs daily. What's interesting is Sapiom also announced three new products: Sapiom Router, Agent Studio, and Runtime. These tools are designed to match model calls, provide an environment for building and testing agents, and offer managed production infrastructure. The company's founder, Ilan Zerbib, states the platform aims to help teams deploy agents economically and reliably. The Series A round was led by Dragonfly, and their Managing Partner, Haseeb Qureshi, will join Sapiom's board. Qureshi highlights that Sapiom addresses the problem of AI agents operating without clear budgets.
