The goal is to establish South Korea as a global AI powerhouse. President Lee met executives from Nvidia, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Broadcom. He also unveiled a new vision to strengthen technological cooperation between South Korea and the United States. What's interesting is that Nvidia and SK Group announced a partnership worth over $500 billion. This collaboration focuses on next-generation AI infrastructure. SK Telecom will build a 2-gigawatt AI data center, powered by Nvidia's Vera Rubin AI chips and SK Hynix's HBM4 memory technology. This facility is expected to begin operations in 2027.
