Tenable CyberAgents Exchange: Open-Source AI for Cyber Defense

Tenable has launched the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source AI exchange designed to boost industry collaboration and improve cyber defense. What's interesting is this platform, powered by Tenable, is the only cybersecurity-native registry for AI agents, skills, and playbooks currently available. Security teams often build AI agents in isolation, leading to duplicated efforts. Existing AI exchanges are either too general or vendor-specific, forcing security teams to sift through irrelevant information or face vendor lock-in. The CyberAgents Exchange aims to eliminate these silos by providing a free-to-use, open platform. It offers code-level visibility into who built each AI component, its creation date, and peer-supported status. Industry leaders SentinelOne and Recorded Future have joined as founding members. They will contribute their expertise to anchor the Exchange as a unified, vendor-agnostic ecosystem. The bottom line is this initiative aims to help security teams better defend against rapidly evolving AI-driven threats.
