Tencent WorkBuddy: AI Agent for Global Productivity

Tencent Cloud has launched WorkBuddy, a new AI agent designed for global users. This productivity tool, first introduced in China, focuses on streamlining office workflows. WorkBuddy uses natural language prompts to break down tasks, access external tools, and create deliverables for both work and study. It works with messaging apps like Slack, Telegram, Discord, and WeChat for remote task execution. The AI agent also connects with external tools such as GitHub, Jira, Google Drive, Gmail, and Notion through its MCP system. What's interesting is that WorkBuddy includes over 100 built-in expert roles and supports model integration using API keys. This means it could significantly enhance how teams collaborate and manage their projects.
