Tenet Security: $6M Seed for AI Agent Protection

Tenet Security has emerged from stealth with six million dollars in seed funding. The cybersecurity startup focuses on protecting autonomous AI agents. The funding round was led by The Westly Group, an early investor in SentinelOne, and MizMaa Ventures. Tenet Security was founded by Barak Sternberg and Nevo Poran. These veteran offensive security researchers previously helped build Cisco’s AI Defense initiative. They also led early work on threats targeting autonomous AI systems. Tenet's platform uses a patent-pending technology called Agent-side Simulation. This technology predicts and simulates an AI agent’s likely actions before they are executed. If an action seems risky, the platform can intervene. This matters because as businesses deploy more AI agents, new security challenges arise in controlling their behavior.
