Thailand Confirms Three Deaths in Strait of Hormuz Attack

Thailand confirms three crew members have died after an attack on a Thai-flagged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow announced this at a press conference. The attack happened in March and resulted in an explosion and fire on the ship. Fortunately, the Omani navy rescued 20 crew members from the scene. Sihasak plans to visit Oman in mid-April. His goal is to coordinate with Iran to ensure safe passage for nine Thai ships still stranded in the region. What's interesting is that one Thai oil tanker managed to pass through the Strait safely at the end of March without paying to escape any blockade.
