TN Budget 2026: Tamil LLM to Boost Language in AI Era

The Tamil Nadu government announced it will develop a Tamil Large Language Model. This aims to bring the Tamil language into the artificial intelligence era. The budget also includes a 5,000 rupee cash incentive for 500 students who memorize 300 Thirukkural couplets. An annual Quaid-e-Millat Award will also honor contributions to Tamil's development.
