TrueFoundry has acquired Seldon AI, a UK-based AI deployment platform. This move provides Seldon's enterprise customers with direct access to TrueFoundry’s AI Gateway platform and agentic AI capabilities. Seldon, founded in 2014, focuses on real-time inferencing and large-scale deployments for sectors like banking and retail. Its open-source core, Seldon Core, is used for production-grade real-time inference and observability. The acquisition combines two platforms built on a common foundation: portable, cloud-agnostic deployment using Kubernetes infrastructure. This means Seldon customers can blend traditional predictive models with large language models and autonomous agents without replacing existing systems. TrueFoundry states that enterprise AI teams often run traditional machine learning and agentic workflows separately, creating operational silos. The combined platform aims to offer one place to deploy, observe, and govern AI systems across all stages.
