Meanwhile, 51 percent of Americans, including a notable 14 percent of Republicans, believe his mental sharpness has declined over the past year. Interestingly, 60 percent of Americans hold a favorable view of Pope Leo, a stark contrast to Trump's 36 percent approval. This matters because the president's ability to connect with the public is crucial, especially during times of international tension.
