UAE Gov't: 50% operations AI-driven in 2 years

The UAE is integrating agentic AI across its Federal Government. A new national initiative aims to convert 50 percent of government operations, services, and tasks into AI-driven models within two years. More than 100 federal officials recently attended a workshop to launch this strategic project. The goal is to embed AI capabilities into federal operations to improve policy formulation, future foresight, and decision-making efficiency. This initiative falls under the UAE Government 4.0 framework. It focuses on seven key areas, including strategy, foresight, policies, and government performance. The guiding principle is "human leads, AI enables." The workshop set out timeline priorities and ways to integrate AI across different entities while avoiding duplicated efforts. This marks the operational start of deploying AI models to enhance the UAE's leadership in future-ready governance.
