UAE Gov't Adopts Agentic AI: 50% Ops by 2026

The UAE is entering a new phase of government development, deploying Agentic AI in public services, policies, and procedures. This initiative aims to build the world's most effective government. Here's the thing: The UAE plans to convert 50 percent of federal government operations, procedures, and services to Agentic AI models within two years. This announcement came during an Agentic AI workshop in Dubai, involving 600 employees. What's interesting is that this transformation seeks to raise government efficiency, improve output quality, accelerate delivery, and strengthen decision-making. Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, states that Agentic AI makes people more capable, opening possibilities for creativity and innovation. The Ministry of Cabinet Affairs also launched the "Top 3 AI Agents Award" to drive innovation. The implementation will occur in four stages: assessment, capability building, pilot deployment, and full-scale rollout. This move signals a significant redesign of how government works.
