UST GenCyS 2.0: Global AI & Cybersecurity Competition

UST has opened registrations for its GenCyS 2.0 Global Capture-The-Flag competition, offering a prize pool worth more than ₹10 lakhs. This global online competition focuses on practical AI and cybersecurity skills. Participants will identify vulnerabilities through realistic reconnaissance, web security, cloud, and AI security exercises, unlike traditional Capture-The-Flag events. The winning team will receive a cash prize of ₹2 lakh. Online qualifying rounds will lead to a Grand Finale at the UST campus in Thiruvananthapuram, India, from September 5-6, 2026. The conference will also feature keynote sessions, workshops, and panel discussions on the evolving cybersecurity landscape. This competition provides a significant opportunity for those looking to hone their cybersecurity expertise.
