Vint Cerf Joins Identity Digital to Tackle AI Identity with DNS

Vint Cerf, a key creator of the internet, is now advising Identity Digital. He will help with their project to use DNS for identifying AI agents. Cerf co-designed the internet's basic architecture and TCP/IP protocols. He also helped establish ICANN. This initiative comes from Identity Digital's Innovation Labs, which is developing something called DNSid. They aim to create "Birth Certificates for AI Agents" using DNS. Other domain companies, like GoDaddy, are also supporting DNS as a solution for AI agent identity. Cerf joins five other advisors, including David Conrad, former CTO of ICANN, and Paul Sagan, former CEO of Akamai. This effort could help establish trust and verification for artificial intelligence online.
