Vodafone Albania & Nokia: 5G AI Network Slicing Demo

Vodafone Albania and Nokia have demonstrated a new way to use Agentic AI for 5G network slicing. This technology can quickly create dedicated network sections during emergencies, large public events, or unexpected demand surges. The demonstration used Vodafone's 5G Standalone network with AI that analyzes both network conditions and meteorological data. This allows for autonomous decisions to instantly optimize performance. This moves towards autonomous networks that can read real-time conditions and usage, then optimize performance automatically. For example, Vodafone Albania's 5G network is already used at Tirana International Airport for advanced security solutions.
