WhatsApp Incognito Chat: Encrypted AI for Privacy

Meta is rolling out a new feature called Incognito Chat for confidential AI communication on WhatsApp. Meta's CEO announced this service will not store conversation history on servers and uses end-to-end encryption. This means no one, including Meta itself, can read your messages. What's interesting is that Incognito Chat processes all AI responses in a secure environment, making your messages inaccessible to the company. This differs from other AI services that often store conversation logs for extended periods. For example, Google stores data from temporary Gemini sessions for up to 72 hours, ChatGPT for up to 30 days, and Claude for at least a month. Incognito Chat is built on Private Processing technology and will be available in the coming months. This development offers users a new level of privacy for their AI interactions.
