Workday Agent Passport: Securing AI for Sensitive Data

Workday has launched Agent Passport, a new framework designed to test, verify, and continuously monitor every AI agent used within an enterprise. This system is for AI agents handling sensitive data in HR, finance, and IT. Here's the thing: Agent Passport ties into public standards like OWASP LLM Top 10, NIST AI RMF, and MITRE ATLAS. Cisco is a launch partner, using its AI Defense to independently check agents for threats like prompt injection and data leakage. What's interesting is that Agent Passport can allow, block, or redirect agent actions in real time. It can also revoke compromised agents from a central location. Early access for this new tool begins in the second half of 2026, with general availability expected before the end of 2026.
