Writer's Palmyra X6: AI Agent Platform Gets Major Upgrade

Generative AI startup Writer Inc. has released its new flagship model, Palmyra X6, alongside major upgrades to its AI agent platform. This aims to provide frontier-level performance for marketing and revenue teams while managing costs. The company states its Agent platform now operates with 52% lower cost, a 48% improvement in speed, and a 10% improvement in quality when paired with Palmyra X6. The new model was developed to address enterprise demands, focusing on content generation, sub-agent delegation, and brand voice. On evaluation, X6 scored an average of 0.87 across nine evaluations, outperforming models like Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5. It also completes tasks in 26 seconds on average and can work unattended for up to eight hours. The company also upgraded its reporting and governance for agentic controls, giving administrators a clear view of activity. This means businesses can potentially achieve complex AI-driven workflows more efficiently and cost-effectively.
