xAI Grok Imagine Video 1.5: Faster AI Video Generation

xAI has officially released its AI model for generating video from images, called Grok Imagine Video 1.5. This model is now available through its Imagine API. The previous preview version has been discontinued. What's interesting is a new high-speed model, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast, is available for web and app users. This "Fast" version generates video at almost twice the speed of the previous model. For example, it can create a 6-second, 720p video in about 25 seconds, compared to over 40 seconds for the older model. xAI also highlighted that Grok Imagine Video 1.5 ranks highly in multiple AI benchmarks. They've also previewed upcoming features like Projects, Multi-agent, and Search to improve creative workflows. This update focuses on making the model more accessible and efficient for users and developers.
