Zero Networks: Enhanced AI Agent Security with Palo Alto

Zero Networks has expanded its integration with Palo Alto Networks, adding automated threat containment and controls for artificial intelligence agents. This builds on their initial product integration from February 2025. What's interesting is this expansion moves beyond policy orchestration into direct enforcement. Customers can now isolate a compromised asset individually, rather than taking an entire segment offline. Plus, specific traffic from protected workloads can be sent to Palo Alto Networks firewalls for deep threat inspection. Anything malicious is blocked, and the affected asset is cut off. This redirection currently works on Linux systems, with Windows support planned. The integration also brings Zero Networks' AI Segmentation, launched in April, to Palo Alto Networks' Prisma AIRS, which secures AI traffic. Zero Networks identifies AI agents and sets identity-based boundaries for their connections. This is crucial because AI agents often have broad permissions, making compromised activity hard to detect. Unsanctioned AI services can be blocked, or their traffic sent to Prisma AIRS for inspection. The bottom line is customers get a single enforcement model for firewalls, internal assets, and AI agents, without needing to redesign their networks.
