Zscaler AI Agent Security: Plugging Enterprise Governance Gap

Zscaler has launched new products and platform updates to secure AI agents within enterprise environments. This extends the company's Zero Trust Exchange platform to manage how autonomous software agents connect to systems and access data. Businesses are rapidly deploying AI agents, which can act on behalf of users and interact with sensitive data without direct human instruction. Zscaler's platform operates across over 160 data centers, serving large enterprises, critical infrastructure, and government agencies. The new offerings include AI Broker, which secures communications involving AI agents, and Endpoint AI Security, designed to detect and block AI-related threats on user devices. Zscaler also introduced AI Access Graph to map data and identity connections across an organization, providing security teams a clear view of interactions to enable tighter access policies. This launch also expands AI Protect, with new capabilities for AI asset management, access controls for approved AI tools, and protection for AI applications in both development and live environments. This matters because it addresses a growing security gap as AI deployment has outpaced governance.
