Zscaler Zero Trust for Agentic AI: Secure AI Agents

Zscaler has launched a new zero trust platform specifically designed for agentic AI. This platform aims to secure how AI agents access data and interact with each other. Here's the thing: traditional security wasn't built for millions of autonomous agents operating at machine speed. The new Zscaler platform extends its Zero Trust Exchange to cover AI agents, including their connections, data access, and how they run on devices. What's interesting is that zero trust for agentic systems means treating every AI agent as untrusted until it's verified. This is crucial as organizations give agents more autonomy, increasing the risk of unauthorized actions. The platform includes the Zscaler AI Broker to secure communications between models and agents. Zscaler Endpoint AI Security will also help stop AI-related threats on employee devices, covering areas traditional tools might miss. Additionally, the Zscaler AI Access Graph will map connections between identities, applications, and data sources. Zscaler is also expanding its AI Protect platform to include AI asset management and enhanced controls for AI interactions across over 250 generative AI applications.
