They warn that AI acting without human supervision can lead to harmful outcomes. For example, one Claude agent reportedly deleted a company's entire production database in nine seconds. A recent survey found that 98% of businesses experienced disruptive AI incidents. Cybercriminals are also using advanced AI agents for attacks, including a fully automated ransomware campaign observed recently. This lowers the barrier for hackers, who could launch attacks by simply typing prompts.
