DEWA's Agentic AI Retreat: World's Smartest Building

DEWA recently held its second "Agentic AI Retreat" at Al Shera’a, its new headquarters. This building is described as the world’s tallest, largest, and smartest net-positive government building. During the retreat, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, stated that DEWA uses the latest Agentic AI technologies. This supports their vision to enhance their leading role and strengthen Dubai's position as a future city. The event included DEWA's executive management, along with key players in digital transformation and AI, and representatives from SAP and McKinsey. DEWA launched its AI initiative in 2017 to become a modern digital company. The organization has experience using AI across its value chain, including generation, transmission, and distribution. They also use disruptive technologies like AI in many services and operations. The bottom line is DEWA is investing in advanced digital infrastructure to drive digital transformation, aiming for increased efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.
