HUMAIN & Cohere: Sovereign AI Compute Power Boost

HUMAIN and Cohere are launching a strategic collaboration to boost AI computing power. HUMAIN will provide at least 50 megawatts of dedicated AI compute capacity to support Cohere's next-generation AI models. This capacity can scale over the next five years. This partnership, announced during a visit by the Prime Minister of Canada to Saudi Arabia, aims to significantly expand AI compute resources. It's expected to be live by late 2027. The collaboration combines HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure with Cohere’s model development expertise. What's interesting is that HUMAIN and Cohere will also develop enterprise AI solutions and special-purpose sovereign AI models, including Arabic-language models. This means more powerful and localized AI tools could be on the way for businesses and specific sectors.
