Robinhood AI for Crypto Trading: Coming Soon to US

Robinhood will soon allow eligible US customers to connect third-party AI agents for crypto trading. This expands on a similar product already available for equities and options traders since May. A Robinhood executive noted that these AI agents help users create trading strategies with specific guardrails, removing the need for constant account monitoring. While no specific date was given for the US crypto rollout, UK customers are next in line. Over 70,000 agentic accounts have been created by equities and options traders since late May. The company believes these AI agents will help retail investors by providing data-driven insights, leveling the playing field with institutions. Robinhood partners with several AI companies for this service, including Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX’s Grok. This move aligns with the broader trend of AI agents potentially becoming major users of blockchain payments.
