SpaceXAI & Cursor AI: Claude Killer Model Launching Soon

SpaceXAI and Cursor plan to release their first jointly developed artificial intelligence model as soon as Wednesday. This comes weeks after SpaceX moved to buy the code editor for $60 billion in an all-stock deal. The launch was delayed earlier this week so engineers could improve the model's efficiency. Internal testing compares the new system with Anthropic's Claude Opus 4.8 and OpenAI's GPT 5.5. The model is set to ship inside both Cursor and Grok Build, the company's developer platform.
