Stilta, an AI company focused on patent litigation, has secured $10.5 million in new funding. Andreessen Horowitz led this investment. Here's the thing: Stilta develops agentic AI software. This technology helps companies enforce, defend, and commercialize patents. Their platform analyzes over 180 million patents, 250 million scientific publications, and more than a trillion archived web pages. This helps uncover evidence that traditional methods might miss. What's interesting is Stilta's software helps organizations defend against patent assertions, find commercialization opportunities, and discover hidden value in patent portfolios. It also keeps traceability to source documents. The company notes that patents are often underutilized assets, even though intangible assets make up over 90% of S&P 500 value. Stilta aims to lower the complexity and cost of patent enforcement and monetization. Since its launch in February 2026, Stilta has signed enterprise customers and pilot programs, including Roche, Alfa Laval, and Maersk. They also work with three of the five largest intellectual property firms globally.
