Tencent Hy3 AI: Global Access & Performance Boost

Tencent's latest large language model, Hy3, is now globally available. This follows its official release in July. Hy3 is accessible through platforms like WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora, and Tencent Cloud TokenHub. Developers can also use API access on global platforms. What's interesting is that Hy3 recorded over 68 times more API calls than its predecessor. It also quickly topped OpenRouter's global usage leaderboard. The model uses a hybrid architecture with 295 billion total parameters. It supports a context length up to 256,000 tokens. Tencent states Hy3 performs comparably to models with two to five times more parameters. This applies across reasoning, instruction understanding, code generation, and agent capabilities. In internal tests, Hy3 achieved a task success rate over 90% in WorkBuddy. It also cut task completion time by 34%. The bottom line is that this expansion makes advanced AI tools from Tencent more widely accessible for various applications and developers.
