Robinhood AI Agents: Crypto Trading Automation Coming Soon

Robinhood says its AI agent feature will soon assist crypto traders. Eligible US-based customers will connect third-party AI agents to make crypto trades for them. This expands on a similar product rolled out in May for equities and options traders. What's interesting is that these AI agents help create strategies with specific guardrails, so constant monitoring isn't needed. Robinhood didn't give a specific date for the crypto rollout, but UK customers are next in line. Equities traders can already use AI agents to invest in crypto mining stocks. Robinhood's new blockchain processed 17 million transactions from nearly 350,000 wallet addresses in its first week. Over 70,000 agentic accounts have been created by equities and options traders since late May. Robinhood says these agents will help retail investors by providing data they might otherwise miss, leveling the playing field with institutions. Robinhood offers these accounts through companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX’s Grok. This matters because it shows a growing trend towards autonomous trading and AI integration in the financial world.
